"To teach in the Saviors way, is to share eternal truths that meet individual needs that will eventually lead them to Jesus Christ and His infinite atonement."

As an aircraft maintainer my job requires me to memorize and learn a lot. There is little to no time to think even for a second "Theres nothing more to learn" I remember in the beginning of my career I was determined to learn everything out my aircraft. I went out and bought books from outside researchers, read online articles and even learned of the company that manufactured the jet. When I arrived at my first duty station, ready to show off all I learned, I was asked what a specific acronym stood for. I had zero idea and was completely embarrassed. Here I had spent days studying complex ideas of the aircraft to now learn I little to no knowledge about the fundamentals. There are times for sure where a little deeper knowledge has come in handy when trouble shooting avionics issues, however almost every time we have had an issue, it was solved by knowing the basics. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the same way.

We live in a time when the Church has opened up a wealth of documents; from journals, to revelations, to artifacts, to everyday documents. It's enough learning to make one excited to dive in and learn everything! I often find myself listening to a podcast or two on the establishment of Nauvoo or the martyrdom of the Prophet Joseph, but think to myself, "When's the last time I studied the covenants made at baptism? "or "When's the last time I deepened my testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ?". Not only do we live in a time with lots of resources to learn, both in the church and outside of it. We live in a time when President Russell M. Nelson taught

"In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost” - President Russell M. Nelson

We feel the Holy Ghost more present in our lives as we rely upon the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and as our testimony in His atoning power grows unshakable it becomes are responsiblity as disiples of Christ to teach and testify. Not teach the philosophies of men or theologies that raise even more questions, but teach the childern of men by what power to look towards for the salvation and exaltation of there souls. To teach in the name of Jesus Christ and to teach as he would teach. To teach in the Saviors way, is to share eternal truths that meet individual needs that will eventually lead them to Jesus Christ and His infinite atonement, not drag them further way from confusion. Thats the beuty of the gosepl of Christ, It is simple. Its so simple that a truth such as coming unto Christ can perfect all that repent and partake of his goodness turned a man swon on destorying the church of God, to becoming a missionary, a high priest, and a prophet of the Lord. That man was Alma the younger.

Base your teachings on what Joseph taught to be the "first principles and ordinaces of the gospel". These being: faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonment, repantace, baptism by proper authority, reciving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and endure to the end. Teach what has been revealed and taught by living Prophets and Apostles, they are here to set the example and show us the way. The Doctrine of Christ is a Doctine of truth and love. I will not understand all things in this life, but I will hold to the word of God that is laied before me, because I know that rod will lead me and my family back to the presence of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
